Dansken Rasmus Munk, kokk og medeier av restauranten Alchemist i København – (som ligger på femteplass på listen over verdens 50 beste restauranter, med en smaksmeny som koster 2000 euro) – er igjen kåret til verdens beste kokk i den niende utgaven av The Best Chef Awards 2025, som ble avholdt i Milano torsdag 2 oktober. I fjor ledet han allerede denne rangeringen, og tok over etter spanske Dabiz Muñoz, som vant prisen tre år på rad – fra 2021 til 2023. En annen spanjol, Joan Roca (El Celler de Can Roca, i Girona), var nummer én i 2017 og 2018.
